  Diversity of Technology      Ada Lovelace was born in 1815 in London, England. She was privately tutored and then self educated herself in mathematics. Charles Babbage created a digital computer prototype, in which Ada Lovelace created a program for. She realized programs could use not only numbers, but also the alphabet. Ada had been interested in Charles Babbages' work since 1833. She then translated and annotated an Italian mathematician and engineer's work on digital computer programming in 1843. It's not too often you hear about Ada Lovelace and what she contributed to society and technology. Ada Lovelace's was in a time where women didn't have rights and were undermined by men all the time.
